Jesus is God and Man, a sacrifice for your sins!

Order of Melchizedek
Jesus is the high priest in the order of Melchizedek. At this moment He carries out His duties in His heavenly headquarters. He is the only mediator between God and men. Other mediators represent Anti-Christianity.
Who is Melchizedek?
"Melchizedek is without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually." Heb.7:3   He saw the day of Abraham and rejoiced at it. Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. Ge.14:18-20Because he has not "end of life", he lives also today.

When God installed Jesus into the office of the high priest, He said: "You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek." Ps.110:4,Heb.5:6   What kind of order is it? "In the likeness of Melchizedek there arises another priest (Jesus) who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life." Heb.7:15-16

"Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils." Heb.7:4   Are you able to see His greatness or has the respect of another high priest blinded you so that you don't respect him? The order of Melchizedek is greater than the order of Aaron because it gives a priesthood "on the basis of the power of an indestructible life". According to the order of Aaron one becomes a priest "according to the law of a fleshly commandment" Heb.7:16   and that is not so great.

Melchizedek doesn't represent any religion or church. He has no authority got from men. He is a priest who steps forward only in the name of God.

Priesthood of the old and the new covenant
The priesthood of the old covenant was a part that God had given one Levitical tribe of Israel. The priesthood of the new covenant is a part that is given to the believers of Jesus. So it was possible to be a Jewish priest only by being born a Levite. The Christian priesthood is also based on the correct birth. In this case the birth means the spiritual birth that happens when coming to faith. One who belongs to Jesus is a priest "on the basis of the power of an indestructible life", in the same way as his high priest.

The Levitical priesthood was based on the position of Moses as the mediator between God and Israel. They had to represent what God had spoken through Moses. They are priests of the law covenant. The Christian priesthood is based on the position of Jesus as the mediator between God and the whole mankind. Thus the Christian priests have to represent what God has spoken through Jesus. They are priests of the new covenant.

Jesus is the High Priest
"This is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary." Heb.8:1   If we represent biblical Christianity this is our emphasis.

Instead of this, the point of what the Catholics are saying is this: we do have such a high priest, who sits in Vatican and who serves as the substitute of Jesus. Also many other churches emphasize their own great spiritual leaders more than Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the High Priest, and those He has saved are His priests. "You (Jesus) have made us kings and priests to our God." Re.5:10   "You are a royal priesthood." 1Pe.2:9   Only Jesus Christ can make you into a priest of God!

No church can give you a position of a priest of God. They ordain you a priest of their church according to their own order, but you can become a priest of God only according to the order of Melchizedek.

God promised to Israel a new covenant. "The days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sins I will remember no more." Jer.31:31,33-34

And this promise didn't concern only Israel. "It is too small a thing that you should be my Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel. I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be my salvation to the ends of the earth." Isa.49:6

This promise was fulfilled in Jesus, when He came as the High Priest of the new covenant. I am sorry to say that the most of the Israeli and the most of the Gentiles have turned Him down and left themselves outside of the new covenant. It is not easy for the Israeli to abandon the old covenant and enter a new one, because changing the covenant also changes the priesthood. It is not easy for the Jews to admit that Jesus put an end to the Levitical priesthood and replaced it by a new one. He brought with Him a new covenant and a new priesthood. "In that He says, 'A new covenant', He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." Heb.8:13

Priesthood and a serving job
What does priesthood mean? It is not any service or job, as many think. In addition to his priesthood every Levite had his own job in the temple. The priesthood and the serving job are bound together so that only priests could do the holy tasks. In the same way every priest of Jesus has his/her own service. So the priesthood is a position and not a service. It is not what you do but it is what you are.

Priesthood and the temple of God are bound together. The Levites were appointed to serve God in His Temple. Instead Jesus' priests themselves form the Temple of God. "Christ is faithful as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end." Heb.3:6

Because a Jesus-believer is a part of the Temple, he/she is a priest. Peter said to the believers: "As you come to Him, the living Stone - rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to Him - you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood". Very soon after this he says, "you are a royal priesthood." 1Pe.2:9   This shows us how the Christian priesthood and the spiritual house are bound together.

Priest as a mediator
What kind of priests are the priests of the Christian Churches? They baptize, marry and bless to eternal rest. They believe to be intermediaries of God's mercy and forgiveness with their solemn ceremonies. In this way they try to act as mediators between God and men. Really, as mediators they often appear, although the Bible says: "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus." 1Ti.2:5

Woe to a person, who settles down as another mediator to compete with Jesus! Be careful not to act in the place of Jesus when you carry out your priesthood! If you do that, you are an antichrist, one among the many.

On what authority you are based when you act as a priest? Do you say to a guilty one: "With the authorization of God's servant I declare to you that all your sins have been forgiven"? Or do you say: "Because you have believed in the name of Jesus, the Son of God and regretted your sins, Jesus forgives you your sins"? If you give the impression that the forgiveness works because you said it, then you acted as a mediator. If you are a priest of Jesus, you only repeat the words of Jesus and stand based on His authority. You don't intermediate, but you are by side. If the heart of the listener received the word of God, the Holy Spirit gives him/her the experience.

John, the apostle, rejects the antichristian message claiming that believers can share the divine life only if an anointed priest mediates it. He advises us to be based on the anointing received when coming to faith: "But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." 1Jo.2:27   Compare what John says and what God promised through Jeremiah: "No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD'."

Mediating priests don't like you to say to them that you do not need anyone to teach you. Instead, a priest of Jesus, who has a service job of teaching, speaks the same as the anointing in the heart of God's children. Thus a real teacher only strengthens his brother or sister in the Lord, but doesn't make anybody dependent on his teachings.

If your heart has experienced a new birth into a child of God through the power of the gospel, it is the real blessing. Do not believe in the blessings of "the great men of God". They give you the impression that you missed salvation, if you missed the blessing that comes through them. Do not go under their hands to be blessed! Do not accept any mediating priest, be he High-Church or charismatic! You don't want to be involved in the antichristian spirit, do you?

Antichrist as a high priest
Man heard the promise:
"If you forgive anyone his sins on earth,
they are forgiven in heaven."
"That's fine! How important I am now.
I am quite great a priest,
the mediator of God's grace."

Woe to you man! You heard incorrectly!
Only one mediates God's grace, Jesus Christ.
You are not mediating grace, but telling the message of it.
Grace comes from Him, who sits on the throne and from the Lamb.
Salvation is given directly from heaven to everyone who believes.
When a priest of Jesus observes this event,
he tells it to the saved,
and confirms God's grace with his announcement.

Now listen, you the mediating priests!
Your high priest will appear very soon.
He will dress you with the power of lies and
make you serve the beast of the Revelation Book.
Today it is the last moment to repent
and to be cleansed from Anti-Christianity!

Jesus is the only mediator
Jesus is the Truth. He is acting as the only mediator between God and man. God's grace comes only through Him. The priests of Jesus are not acting as mediators between God and men, but they act as messengers of the mediator. They are like direction signs pointing to Jesus. Nobody can become a Christian only by dealing with believers. Everybody must personally meet Jesus in his heart.

In many denominations the priesthood is based on the authority of the church. Bishops delegate their authority to the priests through a ceremony where they lay their hands over them. The Catholics believe that the first Pope got his authority as the high priest from the apostle Peter. They believe that this authority has been transferred from every Pope to his successor. Pope has delegated his authority to bishops and they have delegated it to priests. This kind of delegating of the religious authority is typical of many heathen religions. Accordingly in those other religions the spiritual authority is based on of some other person than Peter.

In the biblical Christianity one becomes a priest "on the basis of the power of an indestructible life". It means that the priesthood is got directly from Jesus, when one becomes a child of God through the power of the gospel. So every true believer is a priest, but let him be wary of himself not to be tempted to become a mediating priest!

If a priest of Jesus is acting as a mediating priest he has a great conflict with himself. On the bases of his salvation he feels more a priest than unsaved priests, which encourages him to continue in his ministry. On the other hand the Holy Spirit reminds him of his antichristian role as a wrong mediator, which calls him to give up his ministry. When he tries to live at the same time as one who belongs to Jesus and as an antichristian agent he becomes a strong deceiver to the select of God.

Denominations and Melchizedek
The order of Melchizedek means in everyday life of a Christian congregation that we live according to the fact that our high priest "sits at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven". And He not only sits but He moves among His congregations serving them, as John saw in his vision.

"I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed width a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters." Re.1:12-15   My high priest looks like this. I belong to His Church.

Every community needs to know where our headquarters are. Without this knowledge it feels orphan. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to His own just to remove this orphanhood. "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you." Joh.14:16-18

However the Holy Spirit has withdrawn from many Christian activities, because Jesus are not obeyed. This has caused orphanhood that has pushed congregations to be organized into denominations. In their orphanhood the congregations have established earthly headquarters and appointed a high priest, who represents the community. In this way the denominations have been established and their leaders have taken the place of Jesus as a high priest.

Denominations are against the order of Melchizedek! If he would now visit you, he could say: "Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp (of rebellious Christians), bearing His reproach. For here we have no continuing city (church), but we seek the one (church) to come." Heb.13:13-14   "For our citizenship (membership of Church) is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ." Php.3:20

Invisible can be seen through faith
Faith that comes from Jesus doesn't trust in human authority, but turns to the invisible world of God. The priests authorized by men are certain of what they see, but God's priests are certain of what they do not yet see. Building a denomination is not a deed of faith that is caused by Jesus.

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb.11:1   So what do we hope and believe? We "having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus." Heb.10:19   You can be sure that this Most Holy Place cannot be found anywhere on earth. To get into this place you cannot walk into any church, but you have to take steps to God in your heart. This way is open to you where you now are. The whole priesthood of Jesus says to you: "Come close to Jesus!"

Heaven is open around the clock. Lights are on all the time in the room of the High Priest, when he is praying for His own. Turn to Him. Only He can save you! And He will do it perfectly. Jesus is good a priest. He is the healer and the Creator. He is the wise teacher and a truly hearty man. He is ... You should yourself get to know Him!
