Grief of God
God grieves over many persons, because they have not received His love. If only these hard-hearted grieved over their hardness so that God could save them. Look at God's grief to become right-minded.
God's word to the Church
Do not go into the temple, but stand at the door of the house of God and there proclaim this message:
"Hear the word of the LORD Jesus, all you congregation of God who pray and worship God in your meeting rooms. This is what the Lord of the Church says: Live by the Spirit of God and reform your actions and I'll let you be my people."
Do not trust in deceptive words and say: "This is the Temple of God, the Church of God, the House of God!"
If you really obey the teachings of the Son of God and, if you really follow His words as well in small things as in crucial things, then you will be allowed to be His house.
If you do not show favouritism, but consider all people of equal value, then the gospel of God will remain with you. If you refrain from all violence and stay away from all bloodshed for the sake of the Son of God, then you are allowed to experience God's peace. If you refuse to worship idols and do not allow yourselves to be participants with demons, then you are allowed always to live and to act in the faith of the Son of God.
But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.
How is it? You steal and kill, commit adultery and swear oaths, work hard for your idols and follow the instructions of evil spirits. Then you come to a meeting of the congregation and say to God: "We shall be saved." - Are you safe just to do all these detestable things?
Has the congregation, which assembles in God's name, become a den of robbers to you? Behold, I, even I, have seen it!
Go to Jerusalem, the place where God first made a dwelling for His name. See what God has done to it because of the wickedness of His people.
Because you have given up following Jesus, and you have not obeyed Him, although He has spoken to you from the time you came to faith, because you didn't answer, although He called you, therefore God does to the Christian Church that bears His name, the same He did to the Jewish state.
The Jews were proud of their religion and boasted of the holiness of the temple of Jerusalem. In the same way Christians trust the saving power of their church. Therefore God destroyed the temple of Jerusalem and for the same reason He will also destroy the Christian Church.

This is what God says: When men fall down, do they not get up? When a man turns away, does he not return? Why then have these people turned away? Why does the church always turn away? Why do they cling to deceit and refuse to return?
God has listened attentively, but they do not say what is right. No-one repents of his wickedness, saying, "What have I done?" Each pursues his own course running on his way. Even migratory birds follow God's advice and move in the right time, but His people don't carry out the will of God.
How can you say: "We are wise, for we have the word of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the theologians has handled it falsely?
The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of God, what kind of wisdom do they have?
They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. "Peace, peace," they say, when there is no peace. They will be put to shame, because they have done abominations with their pen, but they have no shame at all, they do not even know how to blush. Thus they will fall and they will be brought down together with other godless people, when the time of their punishment arrives.
Those who don't remain in Jesus will be thrown away like branches, and they wither, and they are picked up and thrown into the fire and burned.

Grief of a friend of God
Where is a comforter in my sorrow? My heart is faint within me, for the believers, my people speak in chorus with the godless world. Is God not in the church, is Jesus no longer its King? Why have they provoked their Redeemer to anger with their idols and why have they fallen in love with vanity?
The time of grace is past, preaching of the gospel is ending, but we are not saved. Since the church is crushed, I am crushed. I mourn, and horror grips me. Has there not been power in the gospel or why have the children of the gospel not changed into right-minded?
Oh, that my head were a spring of water and my eyes a fountain of tears! I would weep day and night for the slain of the church, my people!
"Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travellers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people." Jeremiah 9:2

Deceitful church
They have used a lie as a weapon to shoot the right-minded. They don't shoot the lie with truth to set free the prisoners of lie, because they don't know God. They have got themselves used to lying to be able to go from one sin to another.
Their tongue is a deadly arrow, because it lies. With their mouth they speak peace but in their heart they set traps for their neighbours.
Beware of believers, do not trust your brothers. For every believer, whose love for Jesus has grown cold, is a deceiver and a slanderer. They deceive each other and no-one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie, they have wearied themselves with sinning against Truth.
You, a friend of God, you live in the midst of deception. In their deceit they refuse to acknowledge God. Therefore God puts His people into the forge of persecution to refine them from their lies. What else could He do?

Behold, now the days are here when God punishes all, who are Christians and still live without Christ, who have been baptised to be Christians but have not been baptised into Jesus Christ.
"For it is time for judgement to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" 1Peter 4:17
