The gift of God

God wants to give you a very valuable gift. If you could know how good it is, you would be very interested.

Eternal life is available for you!
"God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." 1 John.5:11-12
Have you the Son of God, Jesus Christ? Do you know him personally or only through other's testimonies? If you own Jesus, you own Life. Jesus prays: "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." John.17:3

How to know God personally?
"He is atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, 'I know him,' but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him." 1John.2:2-5

The love of God is able to touch you personally. If you know Jesus only according to human mind, you cannot live the Christian life, which is described in the Bible. He first loved you. Your reaction is to receive his love. After that you are able to love Him. To know Jesus, is to love Him! To love Him gives the power to obey Him. God's love is made complete in you, when you receive it. That is how you know you are in God.

Jesus died for your sins. That needs your reaction!
You can learn to know God only on his conditions. He has decided that we can learn to know Him only by believing that our sins are forgiven, because Jesus died for us on the cross. "For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe." 1Cor.1:21

The message of the crucified Jesus is foolishness for a conceited man. Many other religious experiences are famous, but they are deceptions, if they are not based on this experience. God has hidden himself from conceited men. He seeks hearts that have humble thoughts of their own deeds. They say in their minds: "What have I done! I cannot accept that." A poor heart hears the voice of the Gospel. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

God sees you as a perishing person. You are in the danger to be judged into the eternal fire. God loves you, because He tries to save you from your frightful destination. He did not spare his sacrifices, but gave His one and only Son for your rescue operation. Who can accept this?

If you accept your punishment, you can understand God's love! This is the narrow door that leads to the everlasting life. It is so narrow, because you think that you are not so bad, that you earn so hard judgement. You must confess that God makes a right judgement, if He judges you into Hell. If you humble yourself to this, you can see God's love in Jesus Christ. An innocent Jesus suffered the judgement that you can avoid it. How this love can touch your heart, if you don't agree with the judgement of God?

You can receive God's love, if you step into the dazzling spotlight of his hard truth. The crucified Jesus encourages you to confess, "I am guilty". Bible speaks to you: "If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sins." 1John.1:7 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1John.1:9
