At the time of the end
The time of the end is a period in the history of mankind. It started when Jesus died and rose up to heaven. It will end when Jesus returns back onto the earth.
The second coming of Jesus
When Jesus was born about 1999 years ago, it started a new period in the history of mankind. God began to create for himself a new nation by sowing the word of gospel into hearts of people. We still live in the 6th day of creating, because Jesus said in: "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working." John.5:17   On the other hand he says that this day will end sometimes. "As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no-one can work." John.9:4   .

After that night a new day is coming, but it is the day of rest for God and for his friends. "There remains, then, a Sabbath -rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no-one will fall by following their example of disobedience. " Heb.4:9-11

The second coming of Jesus will start the 7th day. At the moment God holds back his anger that He feels against the sins of mankind. He is waiting patiently that the harvest of earth will be complete. Persons who are saved by God's grace are the crop that God will gather from this world. When this period of time will end, and when comes that night mentioned by Jesus?

He gives us many signs that show the nearness of the time, but He doesn't tell us the exact time. The reason is obvious. God understands and hears all thoughts of the whole mankind. When He verifies that all hearts are so hardened that nobody will repent anymore, He will order to sound a trumpet. The time period of God's grace will end and He will pour out His wrath on the earth.

Before that moment maybe there is somewhere in the world a person, who is struggling with himself what he replies to the call of God's gospel. When he has made his decision, also God will do his. On the other hand the Bible tells us about the number of believers that must be reached. "...until the full number of the Gentiles has come in." Rom.11:25

In this year of God's grace it is wisdom to become aware of the fact that God's wrath is being revealed from heaven very soon. The same wrath was revealed once on Golgotha and hit against Jesus instead of us that we could be able to enter God's grace. If you ignore this salvation prepared by God, you will....

Be saved from God's wrath
God abhors deceit and hates liars. His fair judgement against all pretenders was on the truth-loving Jesus in Golgotha. The innocent blood of Jesus Christ was shed so that the punishment earned by liars would be reconciled. Truth suffered that palterers would come to know truth.

God looks with hate at violent persons. Jesus Christ was met with God's impartial judgement against all murderers and assailants, when He, Prince of Peace died on the cross. The holy blood of God's Lamb was shed that God's wrath against all murderers would be reconciled and criminals could get forgiveness.

God hates adulterers, gays and all sexually unclean persons. His uncompromising judgement against all fornicators hit innocent Jesus on the cross. The clean blood of God's Son was shed so that immoral persons could experience God's love instead of His hate.

God hates proud persons and boasters. Humble and modest Jesus of Nazareth met with God's holy wrath that is due to all the proud ones. He suffered the shame in the public execution place. The blood of obedient Jesus was shed onto the ground so that God would conciliate from his hate and those who humble themselves would be able to get the clean mind.

God hates greedy persons and thieves. The wrath of His judgement lashed unselfish and poor Jesus and the death of Jesus paid all debts of sin on behalf of thieves, so that a regretting sinner could be free from his sins.

God hates all sins and injustices. That hate is not only hating of bad things, but it touches also sinners. God has the good will to all creatures and He doesn't want to hate anybody. You see, God doesn't hate anyone without a reason! The sinful character is however so essential part of us that because of it, the wrath of God is due to all of us.

God loves truth, peace, faithfulness, purity, humbleness and generosity. He loves you, when your thoughts, words and deeds are good. God hates sinners and loves righteous ones. However He is so wonderful that He loved his enemies in the act, when Jesus Christ died for sinners.

Anyone who says that God loves sinners as His friends makes a crime against the gospel of God. For what reason is the sacrifice of Jesus needed, if sinners would not be met with the wrath of God?

"Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through Him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!" Rom.5:7-10

To become a believer means the moment when you will be reconciled to God. A sinner can receive Jesus as the Redeemer of his own sins and will be so saved from God's wrath. God justifies the sinner who humbles himself and gives him the Spirit of Jesus and the new life. In the decision of the faith you decide to accept the reconciliation work that Jesus did. To become a believer doesn't mean that you give your life to Jesus, but Jesus gives His life to you. At the moment when you are saved, you are totally only the receiving party.

Only he who has already been saved, can give his life to God. (Rom.12:1) When you open your heart to Jesus, who died for you, the miracle will happen to you. He himself will forgive you and His Spirit justifies you and you will get peace and the sureness of your salvation. You won't need any human assurances of being saved because of doing this or that. Don't be deceived!

Come near to God in the thoughts of your heart, not through religious formalities. Any church or congregation cannot give the salvation to you. In the best case they can be only megaphones of Jesus. "And they cried out in a loud voice: 'Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb'." Rev.7:10

Go to God
It is exciting to go to a distinguished person. I wait for the moment when I will be in the throne hall of God. "After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands." Rev.7:9

Also you can reach this place, if you fulfil the next conditions. "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Rev.7:14   Tribulation, washing and whitening are the conditions. "They overcame him(=Devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." Rev.12:11

The blood of Jesus makes your heart white, if you believe in it by repenting of your wickedness. When you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is my Lord", you wash your robe and have a new life. When you obey the teachings of Jesus, you get into difficulties, and your love to Jesus is tested. Overcome your own wickedness, Devil and the sinful world through Jesus Christ. You are called to God.
